IPAF 3b - Mobile Boom Operator Training Course

Course Duration: 1 Day

This accredited 1 day IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) 3b Cherry Picker training course is generally for those using a Mobile Elevated Working Platform on a regular basis. Longer durations may be required for novice operators. 

The working at height regulations state that all persons working and planning work at height activities need to be trained and gain levels of basic training working towards competency.

All successful candidates will recieve the following upon completion;

• 1 IPAF Log book
• 1 Digital ID card & certificate (5 year renewal)

• Safe Operating Methods
• Hazards associated with MEWP
• Operator Responsibility
• Multiple Choice Mock Exam
• Multiple Choice Exam

Practical Session:

• Correct use of PPE
• Risk Assessment and Hazards
• Pre-use Inspection
• Familiarisation to the MEWP
• Practical Training
• Practical Assessment
