This is a 1 day course for any person that is expected to use a 1b type of mobile elevated working platforms.

Each course will include

• 1 Approved code of practice
• 1 Log book

1 ID card & certificate (5 year renewal)

Theory Session:

• Legal overview – health & safety
• Working at height regulations
• LOLER & PUWER regulations (thorough examination)
• PPE requirements
• Guidance & information (instruction manual)
• Machine components
• Pre-use inspection & maintenance
• Handover/familiarisation
• Ground conditions
• Safe operating methods
• Hazards associated with MEWP
• Your responsibility
• Multi choice questionnaire pass/fail

Practical Session:

• Correct use of PPE
• Risk assessment and hazards
• Pre-use inspection
• Familiarisation to the MEWP
• Practical training/practice
• Practical test pass/fail
