Course Duration: 1 Day

Course Detail

Durations are based on the maximum of 3 Candidates per Course - Duration may be reduced when a course has less than 3 candidates or when then full course content is unable to be achieved i.e No racking systems are available for training at the company premises. This would involve a restriction being placed on the certificate to reflect this. 

Upon completion of the course all operators will be certificated to operate a Skid Steer in their workplace with written authorisation

PUWER 98 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 98)

LOLER 98 (Lifting Operations and Lift Equipment Regulations 98)

HSG6 - Safety in working with lift trucks

L117 - Rider-operated lift trucks (ACOP & Guidance)

Care of Batteries/Diesel/LPG trucks

Stability factors

Principals of operation on skid steer

Steering operations – forward, reverse & confined areas
