Course Duration: 1 Day

Course Details: 

This course doesn’t turn delegates into safety experts but focuses on why health and safety is important, and how individuals can make a real difference to the wellbeing of themselves and others through changing their behaviour. Health and safety and environmental basics are covered in a single self – contained session.

Aimed at people at any level, in any sector, needing grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’.

Course Content:

  • Introducing Working safely
  • Defining Hazard and Risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance
  • Protecting our environment


Each module is backed by crystal clear examples and recognisable scenarios, and summaries reinforce the key learning points.

 

Tests: 

Multi - format questions, risk assessment project.

 

Course Venue:

National Safety Training Centre in Hull or on * Customer premises (*min of 6 delegates).

 

Additional Info: 

Includes training, assessments & Certificate of achievement. Tea & Coffee included. Requires refresher training at a minimum every 3 years
