Course Duration: 1 Day
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) has been introduced across the European Union to maintain high driving standards and improve road safety. All professional bus, coach and lorry drivers must hold a Driver CPC if they want to continue or become a professional driver.
National Safety Training delivers Jaupt approved Driver CPC Periodic Training programmes to both individuals & Companies. To give our customers flexibility we offer the choice of 5 training modules, each of 7 hours duration. Modules are delivered at our training centre in Hull throughout the year, these sessions are open to both companies block bookings and individual bookings. For more specific company requirements, modules can be delivered each year on an on-going basis, or courses can be rotate over a period of months at our training centre or on your premises. If your running behind with Driver CPC and your staff have the full 35 hours to catch up on before the deadline, then please get in touch with our team and we will be happy to discuss how this can be achieved over a full 5 days.
Benefits of the Driver CPC The introduction of the Driver CPC scheme may be seen by many as an extra expense, however it is now a legal requirement but does bring a host of benefits which include:
● Compliance with EU Driver Directive
● Compliance with ‘The Corporate Manslaughter Act’
● Fuel and Maintenance Cost Reductions
● Stabilised Insurance Costs
● Reduction of Accidents and Damaged Goods
● Professional Image for Drivers
● Improved Public Image for Company
